I will provide an excel output of Segmentation ( ABC - XYZ) based on 12 month data plus a bubble chart. With the products classified in a 3 by 3 matrix , strategy for Manufacturing ( like Make to Order Assemble to Order can be defined). Also it helps identify how are products placed on two parameters Sales Value and Sales Variability. This will also help in inventory management.
For example. A product X may be high value and consistent demand .. so planning is easier for these kind of products. A product Y may be high value but variable demand , planning for these kind of products needs to be done with caution. Also based on ABC - XYZ analysis specific forecasting models can be chosen for each category.
